Failed attempt to relax

The irony. The member DPChallenge this week involves capturing a photo that portrays zen qualities of relaxation and there is no possible way I could even relax to feel like capturing such a gesture. Why you ask? Recently I had an interview for a new position at the University. I feel the interview went well and I should find out sometime early this week but until then I'm a nutcase. Cross your fingers and hope my bribe was large enough. Todays photo is title, "apple orchard". I came across a random scene while taking a walk this afternoon. I might add that there isn't an apple tree within sight so I thought it was odd. If something strikes me as odd, the photo is taken. That's how I roll. :)

My summer vacation is now over and work has begun for me once again. I'm excited for this new year. Many personal and professional changes have taken place this past year and I look forward to more. Title for today is 'feuille', which is french for leaf. A dry remnant lying on the sidewalk from last years spring. This photo will probably be the last of it's existance before someone steps on it and its beauty will change for the future.

Image within the cabbage

I was cutting up some cabbage for lunch today when I noticed what looked to be a face looking back at me. I couldn't eat it after that so I photographed it instead.
Can anyone else see it or am I the only paranoid one?

Down at the train yard

I'm not sure if I was trespassing or not. There were no visible warning signs near the old train yard on the edge of town. It was a great place to take some time for a few photos. Here's one of the ones that I thought was from an interesting point of view. It's the inside of one of the rail cars.
