Happy 27 of April

I know. I suck at posting this month. But I promise that I have equally balanced my sucking at posting at my sucking at taking photos also. So, you see. It's actually quite balanced in my life and isn't balance the element most people search for their entire lives. You can tell I'm a great procrastinator can't you. The jig is up. I'm done for. Stick the fork in me. aghhhhhhhhhh

Communication

I thought this was ironic. The beams reminded me of the old cliche of news from the heavens along with the cell phone tower for our way of communicating to one another.

old money

It's been a rough week lately in my line of work. People often ask what I do but it's difficult to explain. It ranges from simple things such as making sure the heat gets turned off and the air conditioning turned on for the residents in my building. Those are the easy times. This past week I've had two deaths and two sexual assault cases with students. Not exactly a week to give me time to stay on top of this photo a day project. But photography also is my yoga in life. So today I'm posting one of the shots I thought about for one of the current challenges, 'something old'. I call it- "Old Money".

Here is one of my daughters. She's 8 going on 17. Notice the additional flare to the outfit she choose to wear. Next week she's going to want a car. I guess that's OK since she can't date till she's 30. I think it's a realistic goal. My wife says it would be wiser to invest in a shotgun cleaning kit to use when the guys come over to pick her up.

New Project

Today I've received a new project. Today's photo is a shot of the current logo used for the university fitness centers. My job. Create something new.

This time of the year is always very busy for me. There's only 5 more weeks left in the school year and 10 weeks worth of work. Everything around you begins to feel like it's caving in on you. Even the beautiful trees on campus feel like they are turning against you.

I love Movies

I love movies. I love to watch nearly all types. I have issues with the slash and gash horror flicks so my wife covers my eyes for me. Other than that, it's a great form of artistic expression and straight out entertainment. It measures society and how we perceive the world around us and once in a while, we learn. Enough of the psycho babble though. If you see the killer rabbit, run away!!!! run away!!!

It's Tuesday

It's just Tuesday. Hmmm, ever wonder why things happen on Tuesday but not on Wednesday. Then a week later the same thing happens on Tuesday. Do you ever read someones blog and think, "what is this guy talking about"? I'm exhausted. I need sleep. Todays photo is one of those shots when you don't have a tripod so you rest against a street light and hope it's straight. I was slightly off.
