Untold Stories

People have told me that good photos are supposed to capture moments. Great photos are supposed to tell a story. So where do you place a photo that only tells a part of a story? Today I was driving and while I was stopped at a red light a noticed this shoe just sitting there. I thought it was a peculiar shoe. There are no sidewalks near that portion of the wall. In fact, it would have been quite difficult to reach that point of the street. It just made me think of a long drawn out story about this shoe. And is it the end of the story? Who knows, perhaps the shoe has only begun its journey. To follow its destiny to become reunited with its sole mate. To become a pair again to walk the land lace in lace. This is where my wife tells me to get a life. What. I thought it was funny.
